DIY Flower Box

Kids love to collect nature items, especially flowers. Work together to create your own flower box to save any special items found outside. This activity builds fine motor skills, knowledge of nature, and engages kids in the creative process.

Materials:

  • Shoe box
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or tape
  • Paper newspaper, construction paper, and magazines)
  • Markers
  • A book about flowers
