Our J@MS Ensemble offers a shorter alternative schedule for busy students to still participate in our award-winning Jazz program!

J@MS Ensemble is a component of J@MS (Jazz at The Music Settlement). There are three different ways students can participate in J@MS:

  • J@MS Program (9:00 am - 2:00 pm)
  • J@MS Ensemble (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
  • Junior J@MS (10:00 am - 12:00 pm, for younger students)

For students unable to commit to the full J@MS Program, the J@MS Ensemble option provides the chance to perform and study Jazz music under the direction of our professional faculty. Students enrolled in this course will only participate in small combos and Big Band, but will have performance opportunities throughout the year with the full J@MS Program.
