-------

Reclamation Band, led by bassist Kevin Martinez, was formed from the idea of making instrumental music with a wide appeal. Having earned a Master's of Music Composition at Chicago's DePaul University in 2007, Martinez's songs feature a strong sense of melody to tell a story and serve as vehicles for improvisation. Sacrificing neither groove nor complexity; it is original music from the heart.

  • Influences include: Tortoise, Charlie Haden, Dave Holland Quintet, Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Hank Williams

Reclamation Band:

  • Kevin Robert Martinez – Bass
  • Dan Bruce- Guitar
  • Chris Coles – Alto Sax
  • Anthony Taddeo – Percussion
