BOP STOP at The Music Settlement is Cleveland's premier listening room: an intimate, acoustically pristine performance venue with sweeping views of Lake Erie.
The Music Settlement is seeking a dedicated and experienced musician and educator to join our faculty as a part-time instructor. This position involves teaching private lessons to violin students of varying ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. The anticipated teaching load is approximately 10–20 hours per week, which will vary depending on student enrollment, teacher availability, academic calendar, and other factors. Faculty members at TMS are part of a vibrant, collaborative environment committed to musical excellence, student growth, and community engagement.

The Center for Music encourages creative expression through lessons, ensembles, masterclasses, performance opportunities, and a variety of community engagement programs. We offer opportunities for all ages and skill levels encompassing a wide range of musical styles. Diverse ensemble offerings include chamber orchestras, Cleveland Pops Youth Orchestra, Settlement Singers, Adult Orchestra, and small instrumental ensembles. Special programs include J@MS (Jazz @ The Music Settlement), Suzuki instruction for children as young as age 3, and intergenerational ensembles and workshops through our Creative Aging program. The Center for Music has over 60 dedicated faculty with extensive performance and teaching experience.
