Anthony Papaleo, a current resident of Lakewood, started playing guitar at six-years-old with much help from his dad. One of the first call guitarists in the region, he has studied and played many diverse genres over the years -- including blues, jazz, folk, country, rock and pop, ragtime, Zydeco, and much more. He began performing at the age of 15 and, at 23, started playing professionally full-time. Since then, he has toured internationally to several countries through United States' State Department funded programs with the Akron based Zydeco band, Mo' Mojo. He currently concentrates on his duo with Jen Maurer (Jen and Anthony) and enjoys doing freelance work and teaching in the Cleveland/Akron area.
