Ok-Sim Nam Kim has been a member of The Music Settlement's voice faculty since 1990. Her opera roles include Violetta (La Traviata), Micaela (Carmen), and Gilda (Rigoletto). She taught music at Kangwoon High School, Seoul, Korea for ten years. Ok-Sim won the first prize at a contest for music teachers sponsored by Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea. She is a member of Mu Phi Epsilon. She has served as Soloist for the Fairmount Presbyterian Church choir, Cleveland Heights; Conductor, Euclid Lutheran Church choir; and has directed and conducted the choir for Temple Israel Ner Tamid in Mayfield Heights since 2000. Ok-Sim has been a member of Governing Council of the Arts Song Festival since 2007.
