Who says ballet and drumming don't go together?
Presented by Mojuba! Dance, this cultural exploration of ballet guides students through beginning vocabulary, movements, and positioning in classical technique in a new and exciting way. With a creative emphasis on proper posture, alignment, musicality and coordination, students are introduced to ballet etiquette, exercises, and technique. Students will prepare for performance and explore technique within a unique cultural context that blends African based dance forms with contemporary ballet technique and form.
