Faculty

Judy Rubin, MT-BC received a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Mount Union College and completed her music therapy coursework at Cleveland State University. During her internship, Judy offered inpatient and outpatient medical music therapy services under the supervision of Deforia Lane at University Hospitals. She also served participants of Toddler Rock literacy programs and worked with patients with mood disorders. Judy joined The Music Settlement faculty in August 2018. She currently provides music therapy services to children and teens in educational settings, to adults with disabilities, and to seniors seeking wellness through music. Judy continues to contribute to the music community through occasional performances and enjoys spending time with her husband and numerous pets. She is a member of the American Music Therapy Association.
