Faculty: Music

Graham Rosen is a recent graduate from The Cleveland Institute of Music with a bachelors of music degree in Audio Recording and a minor in Dalcroze Eurhythms. Raised in Portland, Oregon, Graham immersed himself in music during his school years. His ventures ranged from playing keyboard for a garage band to being center snare for his high school drum line and competitive winter percussion team. At CIM his skill for rhythm and precision lead to a deep interest in the Dalcroze Eurythmics method and he dedicated his time to understanding how it could be implemented in new music composition. Graham founded a new music collaboration with students at CIM, working under the name “Elephant Ornament”. Upon graduation he was awarded the Darius Milhaud award for unparalleled creativity, dedication to new music, and academic honors. Currently, Graham teaches Dalcroze Eurhthmics and Music Theory classes through The Music Settlement, as well as a Live Sound Engineer at Beachland Ballroom and freelance Audio Engineer.
