Faculty: Music

Jeff Williams began playing the viola at the age of eleven and earned his Bachelor's of Music degree in Viola Performance from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. His primary teachers included Raymond Montoni, Jeffrey Irvine, and Lynne Ramsey. After graduate studies at Pennsylvania State University at State College and Ohio University in Athens, Mr. Williams pursued his interests in computers and non-profit arts support working for diverse organizations such as Harley-Davidson and The Cleveland Orchestra.

For over 30 years, Jeff has taught violin, viola, chamber music, and music theory to all age and experience levels both privately and through programs at Pennsylvania State University, Ohio University, the Euclid School of Music, and Sam Ash Learning Centers. He is currently Principal Viola of the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra.
