Violinist Jennifer Cluggish is a registered violin teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and began teaching Suzuki in 2005.
Ms. Cluggish has held positions on the faculty of the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Preparatory Department, Miami University of Oxford Ohio, and Washington Conservatory of Music in Washington D.C. She also served as the director of the Cincinnati Suzuki School in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2006-2016.
Her pedagogy training includes Suzuki books 1-7 with Doris Preucil, Ed Kreitman, Michelle George, and Nancy Jackson. Additional pedagogy studies include courses with Mimi Zweig at Jacob’s School of Music, Kurt Sussmanshaus at the College-Conservatory of Music, and Rebecca Henry at the Peabody School of Music. Ms. Cluggish is also experienced in the Paul Rolland method, Music Mind Games theory curriculum, and Musikgarten early childhood classes.
In addition, Ms. Cluggish is a freelance musician and performs with the West Virginia Symphony, Richmond Symphony, and Huntington Symphony. Ms. Cluggish’s other projects include performing chamber music for weddings and other events.
