A scholarship student of Lithuanian pianist Andrius Kuprevicius, Patti Evans earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Cleveland State University. Further certifications in child brain development, significant experience with Dorothy Taubman’s groundbreaking approach to piano technique, 20+ years of homeschooling, and her respect for family culture give her exceptional pedagogical insight.
Patti is an active member of NE-OMTA (Northeast Ohio Music Teachers Association), OFMC (Ohio Federation of Music Clubs), and coordinates the Jr. Fortnightly Musical Club of Cleveland. Her award-winning students regularly participate in festivals, recitals, workshops, masterclasses, and competitions. She is on the piano faculty at Lorain County Community College and joined The Music Settlement in 1992. Her studio accepts students as young as age four.
