Intro to Suzuki (Summer 2020)

Where: University Circle
Start your child on the path to lifelong musicianship! Designed to prepare students and parents for instrumental study in the Suzuki Method, this program serves as a prerequisite for Suzuki instruction at TMS. Intro to Suzuki includes fun musical activities for parents and students, demonstrations of instruments offered in the Suzuki Program, and parent discussions so that those interested can learn much more about the Suzuki methodology. Dates: August 3 through Aug 7 Course Tuition: $115 + $15 materials fee

Intro to Suzuki - Fall 2020 (VIRTUAL OFFERING)

Where: Off-Campus

Intro to Suzuki includes fun musical activities for parents and students, demonstrations of instruments offered in the Suzuki Program, and parent discussions so that those interested can learn much more about the Suzuki methodology. The first class meeting is for parents only. All other classes are for the parent and child together. After completion of Intro to Suzuki and required observations, students are assigned to an instructor. Due to the popularity of the program, some students may have to be wait-listed, or may choose Beginning Suzuki Semi-Private Instruction, based on availability.

Intro to Suzuki - Winter Session (VIRTUAL OFFERING)

Where: Off-Campus
Course Tuition: $115 + $15 materials fee Intro to Suzuki is designed as a prerequisite for students and parents who wish to study in our Suzuki program. These classes begin with various musical activities designed to focus on listening and developing basic musical skills necessary for all Suzuki students before instrumental study begins. Demonstrations of all instruments offered in the Suzuki program (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar and piano) will be provided. Parent attendance and participation is required for this course. Class time is devoted to parent discussion about the Suzuki Method and the Suzuki philosophy. The first class meeting is for parents only. All other classes are for the parent and child together. After completion of Intro to Suzuki and required observations, students are assigned to an instructor. Due to the popularity of the program, some students may have to be wait-listed, or may choose Beginning Suzuki Semi-Private Instruction, based on availability. If you are unavailable for these dates or are slightly outside of the determined age range, please contact the Suzuki department to discuss the possibility of semi private Intro sessions based on faculty availability.

Suzuki Private Lessons - 2020-2021

Where: University Circle
Students who are currently registered for Suzuki private lessons can register for 2020-2021 lessons by adding this course to their cart. Our team will need the following information upon registration: (1) Instructor name (2) Length of the lesson (3) Day and time of the lesson. (Please see instructor to arrange lesson day and time.) 2020-2021 Suzuki Rates 30 min: $35 per week 45 min: $48 per week 60 min: $65 per week Notes: Please note that this course is for returning students only taking Suzuki private lessons. Once registered into this course, lessons will be scheduled with your instructor. You will be contacted shortly if we require additional information to complete your registration. Financial aid and scholarship will be applied once lessons are officially scheduled with the instructor.
