Warm up the hot chocolate and roast the chestnuts. Join TMS and the BOP STOP for a special live stream brass holiday concert, featuring the sounds of Forest Hills Brass and the Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble. The concert will consist of festive holiday music spanning the ages from traditional tunes to jazz with a special brass only flare. So, sit in front of the fireplace and join us for a jolly good time!

This live stream concert is presented by the Gertrude W. and William O. Frohring Foundation.

The Forest Hill Brass is an ensemble-in-residence at The Music Settlement with a new unique approach to brass music. Along with traditional brass ensemble musical genres, the Forest Hill Brass also explores a non-traditional approach to standard hymns and gospel tunes with a jazz flavor, with repertoire ranging from Bach to blues to spirituals and jazz. The quartet performs around the city at local churches, schools, nursing homes, and special concerts at The Music Settlement.

The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble is a versatile and unique musical performing group comprising of some of the finest musicians available. Founded in 1983 by Regis Bookshar, a music teacher, conductor, arranger and trumpet player, this outstanding ensemble has consistently demonstrated its expertise and versatility at over 1300 events since its inception -- including performances at Severance Hall, Jacob's Field, the Cleveland Convention Center, and Playhouse Square.
