Theater Magic

Ages: 8 - 11
Session Length: 1 Week

What goes on behind the scenes of a play? Led by TMS EC faculty and Cleveland theatre arts professionals, Ms. Hargate and Ms. DiTomaso, campers go backstage to learn about how makeup, costumes, lights, sets, and sound design create theater magic while engaging in fun-filled, problem solving and creative explorations. Camp will culminate with a family-friendly sharing Showcase where campers share an original performance reflecting lessons learned and skills acquired. This camp is geared for children with little to no performance experience and will foster creativity, confidence and caring by engaging students through theater games, activities, community building and production design.

• Before and After Care are not available for Theater Magic.
• Children must bring a nut-free lunch & water bottle from home daily.
