Responsibilities:
We are seeking part time support of a Clinical Supervisor, to provide Supervision of Music Therapists working in Behavioral Health and other community-based settings. Primary need is for an experienced clinical therapist with expertise in therapist supervision/coaching in varied community and behavioral health settings. Successful applicant will provide help with administrative tasks and support to the staff and Chair of the Center, that may include, depending on needs and demands of the center: contract management, continuing education planning, HIPAA compliance, Center event planning, technology and instrument management, and Center enrollment. Duties may also encompass planning and conducting data-based music therapy services (direct care) at community locations and at The Music Settlement.
CMT provides clinical music therapy services for adults, teens, and children with physical, cognitive, developmental or multiple disabilities, mental health concerns, and trauma informed care in outreach settings and at The Music Settlement. Each music therapist is an employee of The Music Settlement and is a member of an experienced team of music therapists. The department provides a selection of musical instruments and equipment, access to audio/visual equipment, computers, and a music therapy library. As an approved provider of Continuing Music Therapy Education credits through the Certification Board for Music Therapists, the Center offers a program of relevant workshops and in-service training. In addition, we offer health insurance benefits, travel reimbursement, and paid time off.
Assignments:
Present assignments include adult mental health groups, groups and/or individual sessions at TMS Ohio City or University Circle Campuses. Assignments will vary depending on the time of year and agency partnerships available.

Position Status: Part time, hourly, non-exempt
Pay Range: $24-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience and desired as well as preferred competencies.
