Patty Console, MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 1980 and has been a practicing music therapist for over 20 years. She began working at The Music Settlement in 2006. On-site at The Music Settlement, she currently serves clients with diagnoses such as autism, MR/DD, or mood disorders. She is also contracted by the Salvation Army to serve several populations such as women and men living in sheltered or transitional housing; individuals reintegrating to the community from forensic or drug and alcohol rehabilitation. She is a member of AMTA and AOMT.

Alanna Durham, MT-BC is a Board-Certified Music Therapist that graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s in Music. Alanna completed her internship with Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH, in 2021. Alanna has worked with older adults at the end of life, in mental health facilities, adults with substance abuse disorders, older adults in memory care, and adults & children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Alanna believes in following a person-centered approach to music therapy, and that music is one of the most healing experiences. Alanna enjoys giving back to the community she has grown up in.

Hannah Floyd joined TMS in 2021. She is a recent graduate from Slippery Rock University where she majored in music therapy and voice performance. Though she went to school in Pennsylvania, she is from Sheffield Ohio making her a native to the Cleveland area. Hannah follows a person-centered approach to music therapy within her sessions. When she is not in the office or traveling to agencies, she also has a profession in photography. Hannah is very grateful to have joined The Music Settlement music therapy staff.

Sarah Murrin, MT-BC is a Board-Certified Music Therapist. After graduating from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and a minor in Psychology, she completed her music therapy internship at MusicWorx Inc. in San Diego, CA.

Sarah has worked with infants, children, adolescents, and adults in the medical setting, neurodivergent individuals in long-term settings, older adults experiencing memory loss in eldercare, and terminally ill patients in hospice care. At The Music Settlement, she serves several school districts and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Sarah has presented her findings on the Role of Relationships in Music Therapy: An Analysis of the Intrapersonal Experience at the regional and national levels. Sarah recently earned a certification in DIRFloortime®, making her the only DIRFloortime® Music Therapist in the state of Ohio.

Anne Reed, MT-BC is a Board Certified Music Therapist and is currently the Interim Chair for the Center. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in 1988. Anne joined the music therapy department at The Music Settlement in 1989, where she served as a staff music therapist, staff supervisor, and internship supervisor. In 2005, Anne left TMS and accepted a position with Beech Brook, where she served as the Music Therapy Program Manager for nine years, overseeing the research conducted at the agency with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and demonstrated severe emotional disturbances and attachment issues. In October of 2014, Anne returned to The Music Settlement. She became the Clinical Director at the agency in August of 2016. Aside from her administrative responsibilities, she conducts individual music therapy sessions with children and adults having multiple disabilities such as attention deficit disorder, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, epilepsy, apraxia of speech, and autism. Anne has co-authored articles in the Journal of Music Therapy and other journals. Anne has presented at regional and national music therapy conferences, an international conference on conflict resolution at Cuyahoga Community College, and for the Adoption Network of Greater Cleveland. She has co-presented on the topics of music therapy and abuse recovery and attachment issues for undergraduate music therapy students and graduate social work students at local and state universities. Anne completed her Neurologic Music Therapy training in 2000 and received her second Fellowship in October of 2017 from The Robert F. Unkefer Academy for Neurologic Music Therapy.
