Music Has Opened Many Doors

Since I was six years old, the violin has been a formative mentor, helping me develop fundamental skills while teaching me the rewarding aspects of hard work. Over the years, music has opened many doors to incredible opportunities. This year, I had the privilege of playing for the second year with the Cleveland Pops Youth Orchestra at The Music Settlement and participating in other audition-based performances, including performing onstage with the Piano Guys at Akron Civic Theater and Side-by-Side concert with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra at Playhouse Square.
Being a part of these programs have been incredible experiences that helped me grow as a musician while greatly inspiring me. The Hyman Schandler Scholarship for Violin has given me the chance to focus on further improving my skills and pushing my limits to go above and beyond. As we celebrate this season of thankfulness, I would like to express my wholehearted appreciation for your generosity and willingness to help young musicians like me shape our future with life-changing opportunities.
