Through our three Centers – Center for Music, Center for Early Childhood, and Center for Music Therapy – and BOP STOP performance venue, we provide accessible, life-enhancing music and arts experiences to people of all ages and abilities.
- Our Center for Music delivers first-class music instruction in a variety of musical styles in private lessons, ensembles, immersion programs, and performance opportunities.
- Our Center for Early Childhood is a top-rated, Gold Award from Ohio’s Step Up to Quality rating, program that uses music and the arts in preschool, kindergarten, and summer camps.
- Our Center for Music Therapy utilizes specially designed music-based interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional.
Regardless of age, background, artistic ability, or economic circumstance, we are improving the quality of life for all those we serve and building healthy, thriving communities. Our east side campus in University Circle and our campus in Cleveland's near west side Ohio City neighborhood both offer year-round enrollment and a generous financial assistance program.
Our programs are delivered by exceptional faculty and music therapists in an environment that nurtures individual achievement and creativity, affording students and clients the opportunity to reach their full potential while developing a lifelong love of the arts.

The Music Settlement (TMS) is a centuries-old community music school forged out of the Settlement Movement as a way to welcome immigrants to Cleveland and unite them through the common language of music.

Our founder, Almeda Adams, was a musician, teacher, and leader who was dedicated to making music instruction available to children and adults.
