Our summer camps provide a safe, fun environment for campers to explore their interests, get creative, make friends, and learn! For questions not addressed below, please contact Enrollment and Customer Service at (216) 421-5806 ext. 100, or email ECS@TheMusicSettlement.org

Are there any discounts available for siblings or multiple camp enrollments?

Yes! The Music Settlement offers a 10% discount* to siblings and families with multiple enrollments. In the event of multiple enrollments, the discount is taken off the least expensive enrollment.

Discounts must be requested at registration and cannot be redeemed online. Please call us at 216-421-5806 or stop by in person to register with a discount.

*Discounts are not applicable for any Center for Early Childhood programs or summer camps (Camp Create, Kids Camp, Kindergarten Camp, Theater Magic).

**Only one discount per family per fiscal year (Summer 2025 - June 31, 2026). If you plan to enroll in programming during the school year (e.g., private music lessons), it would be advisable to use the discount then for greater savings.

Are there any discounts available for seniors?

Yes! Seniors (age 55+) receive a 10% discount off all Center for Music and Center for Music Therapy programming at The Music Settlement. This discount may not be used in conjunction with any other discount and is not applicable to workshops or BOP STOP events. The discounts cannot be applied to the registration of someone under 55 by a payer who meets the 55+ age requirement.

Do you offer any inclusion options?

Inclusion options and supportive programming may be available to assist students/campers. Not all programs and camps are eligible for inclusion options. Please call The Music Settlement's Center for Music Therapy at 216-421-5806 ext. 104 or email us to discuss whether a program and/or camp has the potential to be a successful experience for you/your camper. The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship is not an eligible fund for any camp at The Music Settlement. (This fund may be used for music therapy services.)

Are payment plans available?

Yes! A 50% down payment is due at the time of registration and the remaining payment is due on June 1st, regardless of the camp start date. This option can be selected when enrolling online or you can request it when registering by phone.

All camp enrollments on after June 1st must be paid for in full at registration.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Yes! The Music Settlement offers financial aid and hardship assistance to those who qualify.

  • Financial aid is calculated based on federal poverty guidelines.
  • Hardship is determined based on extenuating life circumstances (e.g., job loss, medical expenses).

Those interested in applying must submit an application at the time of their enrollment.

Do you accept Ohio ACE funding?

Yes! The Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) educational savings account program provides funds for students and families to use on various enrichment and educational activities, including day camps.

Families must pay The Music Settlement up front for the cost of camp and then submit a reimbursement request to the Ohio ACE Program.

The federal funds used to operate this project are scheduled to expire later this year. As a result, all ACE funds must be used for allowable activities no later than September 1, 2025. (Dates of service must occur before September 1, 2025.)

All claims requesting payment or reimbursement must be submitted to Merit for processing no later than September 1, 2025. Any funds that are not expended by September 1, 2025 will no longer be available.

What happens if a TMS summer camp is cancelled?

Should any summer camp from The Music Settlement be cancelled due to lack of enrollment, a full refund will be issued to the participants.

How do I withdraw from a summer camp/program?

Students withdrawing from any camp program prior to May 1st are entitled to a refund of the amount paid. Students withdrawing after May 1st and prior to June 1st are entitled to a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. After June 1st, no refunds will be given. Withdrawals from Camp Before Care and After Care are 100% refundable prior to camp start date

Do you offer private music lessons over the summer?

Yes, we do! Private music lessons are available year-round at our campuses in University Circle and Ohio City, as well as online. Click here to learn more about our private music lessons.
