Directions to the Music & Communication Building:
FROM THE EAST: Follow I-90 West to the Chester/CSU exit (#173B). Turn left onto East 24th St. and right at light onto Chester. Take Chester to East 21st St. (2nd traffic light); turn left onto East 21st. Turn right into the parking garage.
FROM THE EAST SUBURBS: Approach downtown on Chester Ave. Turn left onto East 21st St., then right into the parking garage.
FROM THE WEST: Follow I-90 East to East 22nd St. exit (#172C). Turn left onto East 22nd, drive to Chester (immediately following the underpass), and then turn left onto Chester. Turn left onto East 21st (1st traffic light), then right into the parking garage.
FROM THE SOUTHWEST: Follow I-71 North to East 22nd St. exit (#172C). Turn left onto East 22nd, drive to Chester (immediately following the underpass), and then turn left onto Chester. Turn left onto East 21st (1st traffic light), then right into the parking garage.
FROM THE SOUTH: Follow I-77 North to East 22nd/East 14th exit (#162B). Turn left onto East 22nd, drive to Chester (immediately following the underpass), and then turn left onto Chester. Turn left onto East 21st (1st traffic light), then right into the parking garage.
AFTER PARKING: Exit the garage on East 21st Street, where you drove in. Turn right (south) and walk almost to the corner of Euclid. Turn sharply right and take the sidewalk which comes in at a sharp angle from the northwest. Follow the sidewalk to the Music and Communication Building entrance. Then follow the interior signs to Waetjen Auditorium.
If parking is not available in the garage mentioned above, there is a visitor parking garage located on East 22nd. Fee for the parking garage on East 21stis $6.00. Parking in the visitor parking is $5.00 for 2.5 hours by self pay station (cash only).
