BOP STOP at The Music Settlement is Cleveland's premier listening room: an intimate, acoustically pristine performance venue with sweeping views of Lake Erie.
The Music Settlement Voice Recital @ BOP STOP
October 26 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm
At 2pm, you are invited to a free Studio Recital by students of Hazel Zehner, head of The Music Settlement Voice Department. They will perform a variety of art songs and arias from oratorios, operas and music theater.
Following this program will be a free Faculty Recital of art songs and opera by mezzo-soprano, Kimberly Lauritsen, assisted by soprano Eve McPherson. It will feature works by Brahms, deFalla, Rorem and Heggie, and duets from Carmen, Lakme, Tales of Hoffman, and The Magic Flute."
A small reception will follow the event with food and beverages available. The bar will be open between sets.
BOP STOP is a Jazz club which was gifted to The Music School Settlement in December 2013. It is located at 2920 Detroit Avenue which is just west of the flats."
