Dynamic vocalist and singer-songwriter Megan Elk has spent the last year cultivating a truly unique musical project in Miss Alexandra Huntingdon and The Gentlemen's Intermission. Drawing upon the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Musical Theatre, and early Pop/ R&B, it's no small wonder that Cleveland International Piano Competition has called her, a "torch singer extraodinaire".
Elk presents anything but the standard Cabaret fare however, as she (as Miss Alexandra) brings you original tunes inspired by life in the city of Cleveland that are at once heart-breaking and hilarious, put forth with one of the biggest voices this side of The Great White Way.
Miss Alexandra Huntingdon and the Gentleman's Intermission have brought down houses at Ingenuity Festival, Happy Dog, Brother's Lounge, Larchemere Porchfest, Heights Music Hop, and Pittsburgh's CLO Cabaret, just to name a few. Join them in celebrating the release of their brand new album, "LIVE at Survival Kit" at 8pm on January 17th at The Bop Stop.
