Matt Skitzki Trio

Please join us for an evening of piano jazz with Matt Skitzki and his trio.
Matt Skitzki maintains an active performance schedule, appearing with the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom, Cleveland Pops Orchestra at Severance Hall and the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra at Playhouse Square. He leads a jazz trio, “The Matt Skitzki Trio”, in concert performances at Nighttown, the Bop Stop, Cain Park, and Trinity Cathedral.
Mr. Skitzki studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Bowling Green State University, and Cleveland State University, where he studied with the Grammy Award winning pianist Dr. Angelin Chang. Mr. Skitzki won the 2010 Daniel Rains Concerto Competition, has released four records, and has been interviewed by Kickin’ It With Kenny, Crain’s Cleveland Business, Cool Cleveland, WCPN, and WCLV. Mr. Skitzki is the Staff Accompanist at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
He will be joined by Ricky Exton on Drums and Alan Gleghorn on bass.
