Tonight we host our second Music Industry Night to thank all of the people and organizations that make Northeast Ohio's music scene so vibrant. All drinks are $1 off until midnight. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Joey Skoch will be performing on piano but all musicians are encouraged to bring their horns to sit in! Maybe some performers from the Tri-C Jazz Fest will attend...

Joey Skoch is a pianist in the Northeast/Central Ohio area and has been playing the piano for thirteen years. Throughout high school, Joey was the pianist for Jazz Impact, a high school all-star big band based in the Cleveland area. He was also a pianist and instrumentalist for The Singing Angels, the world-renowned youth chorus located in Cleveland. Joey participated in the Tri-C High School Rock Off with his band, Never Forget Tomorrow. His original music and leadership skills led the band to the final round. Joey released his first CD with Never Forget Tomorrow, "Once Upon A Time," available on Itunes and featuring thirteen original songs.

Joey is currently a junior at Capital University studying both jazz and classical piano with professors Mark Flugge and Seymour Fink. He has played in six different university ensembles, including the Capital University Big Band, directed by Lou Fischer, and Jazz Consort, directed by Mark Flugge. Outside of school, Joey has performed with many musicians and groups in both the Cleveland and Columbus areas. These include Ernie Krivda, Jack Schantz, Mojo Big Band, Yumbambe, and the Roberto Ocasio Latin Jazz Project. Joey continues to pursue a variety of musical opportunities to grow and develop his creative passion.
