Call and Response is a new series of performances hosted at BOP STOP @ the Music Settlement that features food, visual art, music, theater, and/or film in the up-and-coming Hingetown neighborhood of Cleveland. The series is dedicated to supporting and celebrating local artists and arts organizations that are combatting social and economic issues through the arts. The first performance will be held on July 29th. This event will feature a performance by The Spyder Stompers and Sugar Pie, the resident blues/ragtime/bluegrass ensemble of Roots of American Music.
Roots of American Music is a 501(c)3 music education organization based in traditional music that serves 17,000 individuals annually with arts programming from residencies, assemblies, workshops, after school programs and summer camps, to radio and public events. The organization’s mission is to provide arts-integrated programs to youth and diverse communities, using traditional music, in order to enhance educational outcomes and enrich people’s lives.
This event is free but there is a $10 suggested donation
