The Gruca White Ensemble @ BOP STOP

The Music Settlement's Gruca White Ensemble presents a spectacular evening celebrating the macabre and fantasy aspects of Halloween. With their usual mix of musical styles spanning both the classical and popular realms, guitarist Robert Gruca and flutist Linda White will feature Cleveland composer Jennifer Conner's "Chapters from the Chronicles" based on the story of Narnia, and juxtapose it with Cleveland born blues singer Screamin' Jay Hawkings' "I Put a Spell on You". Other composers include Serge Lancen, Bryan Johanson and Julio Racine, and Nakita Koshkin. To add the spectacular nature of evening, they'll welcome guest artist Beth Friedman-Romell playing the theremin. This evening will definately be an experience which will take your ears and imagination on a unique ride!
