An Evening with Eeyore: Make Music Cleveland Fundraiser Event
Make Music Day is an international, annual event to celebrate music through free, public concerts on the Summer Solstice, June 21st. Over 700 cities around the world celebrate Make Music Day. Make Music Cleveland is thrilled to bring the event to Cleveland. Ticket sales will be dedicated to sponsoring a day of concerts and activities at Edgewater Park! Formed in early 2014 at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, jazz quartet Eeyore has worked with many leading jazz musicians throughout the US. The band consists of, Michael Esber- guitar, J.T. Lincoln- piano, Eli Naragon- bass, and Eiden Pospisil- drums. Eeyore’s members hail from across the United States including: Anchorage Alaska, Washington D.C., New Haven Connecticut, and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Eeyore’s repertoire consists of mainly original compositions by members of the band, as well as compositions by Lionel Loueke, John Cowherd and others.
