Flautrageous Flute Choir Spring Concert

Free and open to the public

May 4 from 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Bring your family and friends to enjoy an evening of music played by our "Flautrageous" flute ensemble, conducted by Linda White and Jane Berkner. This group consists of adult amateurs and advanced teen performers. They play original and transcibed music for flutes of all sizes: C flutes, g treble flute, piccolo, alto, bass and contrabass flute!

Music to be performed will include a transcription of an overture by Mozart, an original work for ensemble with piano by Ken Kreutzer, a piece that employs traditional Ukrainian folk songs, and a jazzy samba.

Joining " Flautrageous" for the Spring Concert is"The Magnolia Ensemble", a newly formed quartet of adults who are in their first and second year of playing the flute!
