Sam Blakeslee/Dan Pugach Tentet @ BOP STOP

The Sam Blakeslee/Dan Pugach Tentet is a special collaboration co-led by the two composers and arrangers that features an exciting mix of Northeast Ohio and New York City musicians.

The evening will feature one of the most in-demand trumpet players in New York City, Dave Smith, who has recorded and/or played with Harry Connick Jr, Alan Ferber, and Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, among others. The group contains members hailing from all over the world including Israel, Holland, and Canada, and are all established bandleaders and composers in their own right.

The band will feature the talents of:

  • Chris Coles (tenor saxophone)
  • Brad Wagner (baritone saxophone)
  • Dave Smith (trumpet – from NYC)
  • Sam Blakeslee (trombone)
  • Mark Mauldin (bass trombone)
