Jazz Unit Reunion @ BOP STOP

This will be an incredibly special night for the Cleveland jazz scene!
The Jazz Unit is reuniting for a one-night only appearance. The Unit was a Cleveland version of the Village Vanguard Big Band that plays Monday nights in New York City. "It’s not a big band per se," says Ron Busch. "It’s a 13-piece chamber orchestra that performs jazz, stylized jazz music, and has unusual instrumentation with the vibes. The band performs primarily original material because it's members are incredible composers as well. The Jazz Unit recorded a live record in 1998 entitled "Choices".
The Jazz Unit performed every Monday night at the previous Bop Stop locations as well as at the current address. This will be their first time performing at the BOP STOP since the donation of the space to The Music Settlement.
