Holiday Show with Dominick Farinacci and Tri-C's Next Gen @ BOP STOP
December 8 from 8:00pm - 9:30pm
We welcome you to the BOP STOP to enjoy an evening of arrangements of classic holiday tunes. The program will be hosted by Cleveland's own, Dominick Farinacci! Dominick will be joined by faculty and students from TriC including:
- Joe Hunter, piano
- Sam Blakeslee, trombone
- Avandre Sayles, alto saxophone
- Tim Picard, guitar
- Graeham Guerin, bass
- Rob Picard & Cameron Burton, drums
Dominick Farinacci is the recipient of the International New Star Award (along with Diana Krall & Christian McBride), the Disney New Star Award, and first place honors in the Carmine Caruso International Trumpet Competition.
Dominick has headlined at many major festivals and clubs both nationally and internationally including Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Birdland, Yoshi’s, Scullers, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Detroit International Jazz Festival, the Tri-C JazzFest and both the Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals in Canada. He has toured Japan regularly since 2003, and has performed in Korea, Switzerland, Italy and the United Kingdom. He has performed and/or recorded with the likes of Wynton Marsalis, Kenny Barron, Mulgrew Miller, Lewis Nash, Ron Carter, Joe Lovano, Jimmy Heath and Benny Golson.
This show is being produced in partnership with Cuyahoga Community College. Tickets are FREE for students and $10 for the general public.
