It is the Sunday before Halloween so we invite you to celebrate at BOP STOP with Cleveland's own, Ikembe. Wear a mask or costume if you feel inspired!

Ikembe is an award winning band that performs traditional jazz, smooth jazz and neo soul with a twist. Ikembe consist of five musicians that had one thing in common and that was to make good music and to not sound like other bands in the area.

• On Vocals we have Barb aka (Song Bird) who has been classically trained. She has been performing for many years in numerous genres from Opera to Swing to Reggae.

• On keys we have Rod aka (aidio crew) who studied at Akron University and has played in many bands and is one of Cleveland's best Gospel organists and choirs. Rod is Ikembe's Music Director & co-founder.

• On Drums we have Byron aka (glove). He's called glove because he's a perfect fit. Byron has performed with many bands over the years and he is recognized as one of Cleveland's best drum teachers.

• On Sax we have Brittany aka (MzLadysaxx). Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, she was exposed to Dave Koz, Gerald Albright and Kenny G's smooth sounds on Cleveland's 107.3 the Wave radio station. At the age of 10, she began playing the Clarinet. This was her entrance into the world of music. Brittany works as a music therapist.

• On electric & acoustic bass we have Howard aka (Church). Howard has performed with many bands over the years since the age of 14 in his fathers Blues band.
