Modern Jazz Fusion that doesn't hold back.
Chromadrive takes inspiration from jazz and rock music, particularly grunge. The band's energetic live shows have made impressions on some heavy hitters in the music world. You can find guitarist Tim Mirth and saxophonist Justin Tibbs battling on stage while bassist Jared Lees and drummer Drew PenCook lock down the rhythm section. The band believes in the energy of live shows and perform in the same manner as Mahuvishnu Orchestra, Weather Report, the great Miles Davis Quintets and Coltrane Quartets.
