YMusic's mission is to invite the community and mentors to engage with youth and young adults to further develop their music capabilities while opening the doors of opportunity with like minded peers and to have fun with music and life.

This evening at BOP STOP YMusic presents its Youth Music Awareness All Star Concert showcasing a unique blend of Jazz, R&B, Soul, Rock and Blues. Featuring:

Larry Mitchell: A Grammy award-winning producer, engineer and performer who has toured the world playing guitar with well-known artists including Tracy Chapman, Billy Squier, Ric Ocasek and Miguel Bosé. Larry skillfully weaves guitar textures that showcase his virtuosity as a solo artist and ensemble player.

Tommy Amato: Touring Professional Drummer performing/ recording artist in Los Angeles (1984-2011) with Artist Gene Simmons, KISS (Simmons/RCA Records), Doro Pesch, Silent Rage, Warrant, Lita Ford, Neil Giraldo, Billy Steinberg, Paul Sabu, Tony Kishman, Only Child, Claudia Scott, Erik Norlander, Gary McGrath, Lana Lane, Vicky Peterson (The Bangles), Rocket Scientists, Jennifer Rush, Tim Scott. Numerous videos, television shows and films.

The Immortals: Top performing students at Loudoun Music Instruction near Washington DC. Playing professional gigs throughout the DC area and are known for being top notch entertainers.

Nikki Krofta: Nikki comes to us from the Broadway School of Arts , Cleveland Boys & Girls Club Chapter. Bringing her Classical training to YMusic as a Performer for the past couple years, she has expanded her talents to Bass and Vocals playing arrangements from Blues/ Folk to Rock. Join Nikki, YMusic's own little Rocker and enjoy her diverse performance.
