Flutes & Guitars @ BOP STOP
May 23 from 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Three Music Settlement ensembles converge for a spring concert: Flautrageous, Magnolia Ensemble, and the Guitar Ensemble, two flute groups and a quartet of classical guitarists. Flautrageous is a group of adult and teen flutists playing everything from the wee piccolo to TMS’s contra bass flute. Affectionately known as “the beast”, the tall contra bass requires that a flutist stand up to play it. The three ensembles all join forces for a rousing conclusion to this delightful evening of music.
