That Sound @ BOP STOP
November 20 from 7:30pm - 8:30pm
'That Sound' is Tinker (Scott Furman) on bass, Rick Mondry on drums, and Licorice (Stephen Adamski) on sax and clarinet.
Each band member comes from a different musical background in that Scott is self taught and has always played improvisationally, Rick has played drums over the years in many rock oriented bands, and Licorice is more traditionally trained.
The band has been working for nearly 5 years, experimenting in improvisation with an intent to improvise arrangements where the music sounds like something composed and practiced. Each performance is unique in that most of the group's music has never been played before and may never be played again. That Sound will also perform original compositions that were created through improvisation and are performed in an improvisational style.
THIS SHOW IS FREE but there is a suggested donation of $10 at the door.
