Waves De Ache @ BOP STOP

Waves De Aché blends Cuban jazz with American hip-hop, rock and funk, creating an exciting and energetic modern sound that is still rooted in tradition. Whether performing as a piano/bass/drum trio or a six-piece band with horns, Waves De Aché takes the listener on a journey filled with sophisticated harmonies, deep grooves and raw energy.
Led by Will Strickler and Max Marsillo, Waves De Aché features a variety of the Midwest’s top musicians, including Ben Maloney (piano), Nate Parker (drums), Zach Compston (drums), Eric Paton (percussion), Micheal Cox (saxophones), Kevin O’Neill (saxophones), Ben Crowder (trombone) and Anthony Stanco (trumpet.)
Waves De Aché will be releasing their debut studio album, “Forward Motion”, in spring 2019.
