"Hello, Cello! "

June 2 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm
"Hello, Cello!" is a free 30-minute children’s program which introduces the cello, a member of the stringed--instrument family. Cellist Ida Mercer has created a program designed for preschool and elementary school age students. In the process of unpacking the instrument, its bow, and various accessories, the cello is introduced, with short pieces interspersed throughout the presentation. A question and answer session follows the program which includes information about The Music Settlement, Cleveland's 107-year old revered music institution, with campuses in both University Circle and Ohio City.
