Prism @ BOP STOP

Prism is a quintet of Northeast Ohio musicians established in 2019 to present jazz through a diverse ensemble including woodwinds, strings and percussion.
This varied instrumentation provides multiple combinations thereby presenting jazz through a unique spectrum. The arrangements, specifically written for the quintet, represent a broad cross-section of jazz over the past 75 years from Jelly Roll Morton to Chick Corea. The saxophone trio (sax, bass & drums) explores more progressive improvisatory music.
Musicians include prominent members of the Northeast Ohio jazz and classical music community. Prism frequently performs in jazz clubs and concert venues in Northeast Ohio and its members are very active as educators, adjudicators and guest artists.
