Red Light Roxy @ BOP STOP

Red Light Roxy embodies the spirit of swinging jazz and blues from the 1930s through the '60s with an eclectic mix of jazz standards, jump blues, swing, boogie-woogie, Latin jazz and more. Its repertoire comes from the Great American Songbook and includes familiar songs made famous by such legendary performers as Ella Fitzgerald, Ruth Brown, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Ray Charles and Louis Jordan.
Comprised of some of the best professional jazz musicians in Ohio, Red Light Roxy includes vocalist Eileen Burns, saxophonist Dave Sterner, bassist Demetrius Steinmetz, guitarist Daris Adkins, drummer Holbrook Riles III and pianist Joe Hunter, who was just honored with the prestigious 2019 "Cleveland Jazz Legend" award from the Tri-C JazzFest.
Aside from the Bop Stop, Red Light Roxy has played at BLU Jazz+, the Tri-C JazzFest, Wade Oval Wednesdays, Cain Park, Akron’s Lock 4, the Shaker Heights Art and Music Festival, Nighttown, Legacy Village and a variety of city summer concerts and swing dances, as well as private events.
