December 18 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Cleveland native Brett Lindemann has been playing piano since the age of 5. After studying classical piano into high school, Brett started taking jazz piano lessons with Jackie Warren and continued throughout college at Loyola University Chicago. After graduation, Brett toured with singer songwriter Kate Voegele for several years as the keyboardist and eventually moved back to his hometown. Since 2013, Brett has been a member of Cleveland’s own Welshly Arms and has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe over the last few years.
Brett was inspired to put together a program of soulful songs to remind people of the power of live music and its ability to connect us to each other and to ourselves, while highlighting both the struggles and the joys of the season. Brett has assembled a collection of blues, jazz + soul songs to perform, inspired by live recordings from the 1960s and 70s, from the likes of Nina Simone and Marvin Gaye. Joining Brett will be husband and wife duo Jon and Bri Bryant to sing lead vocals.
