BOP STOP at The Music Settlement is Cleveland's premier listening room: an intimate, acoustically pristine performance venue with sweeping views of Lake Erie.
Free and open to the public
March 1 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Join us for an afternoon of Bach and beans! In partnership with Phoenix Coffee Co., we are turning our world-renowned live music venue, BOP STOP, into a coffee house for the afternoon!
In the 17th century, the craze for coffee spread like wildfire throughout Europe. One of Bach's very few secular cantatas, the Coffee Cantata, celebrates this caffeine craze. Performed by faculty and students of The Music Settlement, the program will also include select arias from St. Matthew's Passion, and Cantatas 36 and 202. Complimentary coffee will be provided by Phoenix Coffee Co.
This program is free of charge and open to the public; free will donations accepted at the door.
