Chamber Connect | A Virtual Chamber Music Camp

Immerse yourself in chamber music at Chamber Connect | A Virtual Chamber Music Camp, featuring Annie Fullard from the Cavani String Quartet.
In this week-long chamber music experience, campers will collaborate in a virtual ensemble, receive daily coachings, and attend instrument-specific technique classes. Campers will also attend chamber music seminars, like “Music and Technology” and “Incorporating Efficient Rehearsal Techniques.” Special guest artist Annie Fullard, first violinist of the Cavani String Quartet, will present a masterclass and seminar one day during the week. Camp will culminate in an online virtual recital featuring our campers.
Campers must have the following technological capabilities:
- A laptop, tablet, or desktop computer that has a reliable internet connection (ethernet connection recommended)
- Access to the video platform Zoom (Camp Director will specify if other platforms are necessary prior to the start of camp.)
- Earbuds or headphones (Bluetooth recommended)
- USB microphone (if accessible)
Video submission is recommended for ensemble placement. Please include the following in your video:
- One major and minor scale, 2 or 3 octaves acceptable
- An etude
- A piece that best demonstrates your musical and technical abilities (i.e. shifting, double stops, etc.)
Please submit videos no later than Wednesday, July 1st to emondragon@themusicsettlement.org.
