Start your child on the path to lifelong musicianship! Designed to prepare students and parents for instrumental study in the Suzuki Method, our online Intro to Suzuki course serves as a prerequisite for Suzuki instruction at The Music Settlement.

This online course is comprised of fun group activities for parents and students, parent discussions, and demonstrations of the instruments offered in the TMS Suzuki Program -- violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, and piano.

Parent attendance, participation, and observation of Suzuki private and group lessons is required. After completing this online course and its requirements, students may be placed with a private Suzuki teacher or on a waitlist, depending on instructor availability and readiness of the student.

Intro to Suzuki Online Schedule:

Sunday -- Parent Orientation* from 3:00pm - 3:30 pm
Monday - Friday -- Parent Discussion* from 10:00am - 10:30am, break from 10:30am - 11:00am, Student and Parent Class from 11:00am - 11:30am

*Parent Orientation and Discussions are for parents/guardians only.

Campers must have the following technological capabilities:

• A laptop, tablet, or desktop that has a reliable internet connection (ethernet connection recommended)
• Access to the video platform Zoom (Camp Director will specify if other platforms are necessary prior to the start of camp.)
• Earbuds or headphones (Bluetooth recommended)
• USB microphone (if accessible)

Intro to Suzuki does not qualify for 10% summer camp savings.
