We Three Qings is a saxophone, guitar, and drum set trio that merges modern musical backgrounds in contemporary classical, experimental, and jazz traditions through improvisation. Saxophonist and educator Noa Even is a touring new music specialist and improvisor who regularly collaborates with composers; she teaches saxophone at Rowan University. A recent transplant to Ohio after spending a decade as an important member of Chicago’s vibrant jazz scene, guitarist Dan Bruce is active throughout the Midwest and nationally as a performer, recording artist, composer and educator. Ohio native Anthony Taddeo is a versatile freelance jazz drummer, composer, and educator who recently completed his master's degree in jazz composition. The ensemble was formed out of the desire to collaborate with friends and as a means of exploration.
