Togishi returns to BOP STOP to perform a special avant-holiday concert. This is your chance to hear classic songs such as Last Christmas (Wham), All I Want for Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey), Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel, and Feliz Navidad, performed in a free-jazz/improvised style.

Togishi is a Cleveland, Ohio based trio consisting of Mike Sopko - guitar, & electronics, Joe Tomino - drums & electronics, Dan Wenninger - saxophones & hulusi.

Togishi formed in 2017 after having performed several improvised shows in and around Cleveland. Individually, the members of Togishi have performed with artists such as Bill Laswell, Matisyahu, Dub Trio, Dosh, Joe Maneri, Beans and Mike Patton. The trio’s music is an eclectic mix of avant-garde jazz, experimental rock, contemporary classical and electronic noise. Their distinctive sound, and creative approach, is both visceral and contemplative.
