Join Piano Cleveland for the organization's new listening series, Prelude to Piano, where you will get the chance to brush up on your musical knowledge from the comfort of your own home. Presented from the BOP STOP, this virtual three-part series is designed to help both serious and casual classical music fans take their interest and knowledge to the next level in a fun, low-key environment.

Attend all three sessions (5/5, 5/12, 5/19) and you’ll be invited to serve as a Certified Armchair Juror during the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition, giving you the opportunity to vote for your contestant of choice for a special prize.

During registration, be sure to add-on a Certified Armchair Juror Kit*, which features goods from Piano Cleveland and our local partners. Please note, you will need an email address in order to register for this series.

About I Love a Piano:
Most of us are familiar with the piano from home or school or childhood music lessons, but how much do you really know about this amazing instrument and the range of sounds it can create? Cleveland Institute of Music faculty member Marshall Griffith will give a brief history of this most versatile of instruments as well as a demonstration of ranges and textures.
