--------------
Andrew has always loved music from an early age. He began by performing folk and rock music at local venues and music festivals, but in High School he found a deep love for jazz, and soon after that, Classical music as well. In college, he began studying with renowned Jazz guitarist Dan Wilson and classical guitarist Brian Kozak, and performed in the Ernie Krivda Jazz Workshop around Cleveland, OH. These experiences jump started his venture to combine the two musical idioms at the Dana School of Music in Youngstown, OH where he studied with composer David Morgan and met a number of other influential composers like Bill Frisell, Vijay Iyer, and Miles Okazaki. Andrew has had his works presented in recital halls and venues alongside composers ranging from Mozart and Mendelssohn to Duke Ellington and Bill Evans.
