Center for Music: Community Merit Scholarship Auditions
Scholarships Available for Private Music Lessons, Jazz, and Rock & Pop
July 26 from 3:30pm - 6:00pm
The Music Settlement's Center for Music will be hosting merit scholarship auditions for the general community. Merit scholarships are available for the following programs:
- Traditional private music lessons (all band and orchestral instruments, as well as voice)
- J@MS Program (Jazz at the Music Settlement)
- Rock & Pop Academy
Musicians of all ages who meet the audition requirements are encouraged to audition -- kids, teens, adults, and seniors. The general skill level is intermediate and up, or advanced beginner for piano. (See application for requirements.)
Auditions will take place at our University Circle campus on Monday, July 26th. Video submissions will also be accepted. Those interested in auditioning must submit an audition application by Friday, July 23rd. Walk-in auditions will not be permitted.
